Wad Madani: Milk Products Workshops

The Sudan Platform for Agriculture and Food Security (SPAFS) recently conducted three impactful workshops in Wad Madani aimed at supporting internally displaced persons (IDPs) families. These workshops focused on enhancing agricultural skills, food security practices, and sustainable livelihood strategies tailored to the unique challenges faced by IDPs. By equipping participants with practical knowledge and tools, SPAFS is fostering resilience and self-reliance among vulnerable communities, ultimately contributing to improved food availability and economic stability in the region.

Through these workshops we supported youth, women, and productive households financially and technically, including training in small project management and assisting women in project development and agricultural business aspects, enabling them to acquire necessary skills. Facilitating income-generating small activities to settle displaced persons and improve their living conditions for themselves and their families, leading to cooperation with local families, resulting in increased production and improved food security.
